Minister for Health Kwaku Agyemang Manu, has disclosed that 52 people have been confirmed positive of the coronavirus cases in Ghana.
He said out of the 1,030 persons who were sent into isolation upon arrival in Ghana on Sunday are still undergoing testing in other to identify those who have contracted the disease while they out of the country.
He mentioned that, out 1,030 people, 52 people have tested positive so far and are being moved into the quarantine centres for further treatment.
“We have made provisions for the person who have tested positive upon arrival into the country on Sunday, so far 52 persons have tested positive and they are being moved from the isolation centre to the quarantine centre as we speak” he noted.
Meanwhile, the country is also engaging in stakeholder meetings with the president to come up with the best measures to fight the outbreak in the country.
